He's not home right now, but I'll make sure he knows about the server being down, when he gets home.

I was going to hop into Conan for a few to see what has changed, but it appears the server is not running.

I can't remember if I finished my epic. If I did, I already had better weapons so I didn't use it. I'm thinking I gave up on it with like 2 fights left, because the mobs wouldn't spawn and when they did someone else killed them before I could get a group together.

We got the 1.5 Mage Epic tonight for Dale. He had done all the leg work and it was down to killing a MOB in four different zones. One through three were no problem at all, the fourth one though... quite the fight. Still, I helped someone get their epic, so that was pretty cool!

I made a Punisher (Shotgun/Hammer).  Almost to the sheriff.

Please get through the opening of the game before Saturday. A good ending point is when you talk to the sheriff in Kingsmouth Town. Do all quests you find along the way. Prior to that, you are mostly doing solo story quests. Once you are there, we can group up and start doing the quests together. The quests are made for solo, so we'll rip through any combat, but we'll do it together.

Not to mention they're a lot more amiable to the acrobatic maneuvers corps do now. I'm sure I'll get used to it, and truth be told they're not as ugly as Coats' uniforms from last year.

If you are curious about the cars that were out there on Sunday, this is a photo album from the second run group. They had more interesting cars than my group ;).

Actually, the time doesn't start until 6 seconds in (for my video, about 10 sec in). If you pause it at that point, you will see 2 cones, a box, and a cone on top of that box (because the wind kept blowing the boxes). That is the actual starting line. You will see the box at the end of the race, too, at 41 seconds in. That's the boxes that hold the infrared sensors for an accurate start and finish line. So the spin at the beginning doesn't hurt at all. I spun on a few of my runs, as do most people. It lets you get some speed before the timing actually starts.

The miata he was driving was a bit beat up, that's probably just the normal gap between the door and rear panel. But I thought the same thing, at first ;).

And he spun off the line.

Also, it looked like he didn't get his door closed all the way.
